★ Folkmore Roles & Attributes ★

Skills: Obi-Wan has undergone extensive training in the ways of the Force, but he is particularly skilled at lightsaber combat. He knows and is proficient in all lightsaber styles with the exception of Vapaad. He is also a well trained and exceptionally skilled pilot. Knows several languages such as Mando'a, Ryl, and even the droid language called Binary. While he's no Skywalker he is also good at mechanics and fixing things. Despite thinking blasters are uncivilized he has been trained to use them and is an excellent shot.
Canon Abilities: Obi-Wan is Force Sensitive, which means he has a strong connection to the Force and is able to use it. This grants him abilities that are akin to psychic abilities such as telekinesis, limited telepathy and empathy. It also grants him enhanced physical abilities such as strength, speed and endurance. He is able to sense the world and living things around him in a very intimate way. More information on the Force can be found here.
Role: Legend
Role Qualities/Attributes: Wings and a glow around him which are characteristics also reminiscent of The Daughter who is the embodiment of the light side of the Force.
Role Reasoning: The description for Legends pretty much fit the Jedi to a T. Obi-Wan strives to be an ideal Jedi, and while he has some flaws and some things to learn still, he fits that very well also. He wants nothing more than to be a Jedi and to help people. He will continue that in Folkmore to the best of his ability. There are still parts of him that are unrefined and has the capacity to tilt him more towards Myth depending on the circumstances. Overall though he is a good person and is a follower of the light side of the Force.

★ Personality ★

Option 1

For as long as he can remember, Obi-Wan has wanted to be a Jedi Knight. He has very few memories of his life before he was taken to the temple at the age of three, but even then he knew it was what he wanted. As he has grown and learned more about the Force, that desire has only grown. However, unlike many of his peers, he wasn't as naturally gifted with the Force. All of his time as an initiate and a padawan he has had to struggle and work hard in order to keep up, and even then he has proven to be a slow learner and a late bloomer. Sometimes to the frustration of his master. The only exception to this being his talents in wielding a lightsaber, which is what he delights in the most.

Because of his ambitions, pleasing his master has always been of upmost importance to him, though he has struggled with that from time to time as well. This combined with the fact that he's a late bloomer has fed into anxieties and fears that he's not good enough and won't ever amount to the Jedi he aspires to be. In fact there were moments were both Obi-Wan and his master questioned whether they were suited for each other. Most of that has been overcome on Obi-Wan's part until his master announced taking on another padawan before Obi-Wan had become a knight. This ignited those old feelings and they linger a little bit despite assurances from Qui-Gon. His master's death has also deeply impacted him, worrying that he won't be able to train Anakin and fulfill the promise that he made.

In Obi-Wan's eyes, fulfilling his potential means becoming a Jedi Knight and eventually a Master. This entails going around the galaxy helping people and keeping the peace. What he had always imagined was that he would have a few years as a knight to come into his own, with his master's guidance if he needed it. Then perhaps he would take on a Padawan one day. However, having the responsibility of training Anakin thrust upon him, along with his masters death, pretty much derailed all of that. He will have to grow up quickly to be a mentor that Anakin deserves and to fulfill Qui-Gon's dying wish. Coming to Folkmore will make him free of all of that, perhaps allowing him to reach the potential that he wouldn't have otherwise.
