Physical description: Standing at about six feet tall with light skin and blue eyes, Obi-Wan is a fairly average looking human male. Though he's fit and in good shape as any active Jedi should be. His hair is kept a modestly short length and is a light auburn color. He also has a well groomed beard to match, which has been said to hide too much of his handsome face. Said face most often radiates a kind calm, though there are moments which will require a stern frown. Age is also slowly starting to sneak up on him as he's grown a little bit of grey on his beard and sideburns.

History: Wiki Entry
Born on the planet Stewjon, Obi-Wan Kenobi was discovered to be a force sensitive individual while he was still an infant. Taken from his family to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where he was to be trained as a Jedi, at only six months of age. Thus the Jedi and the temple would be the only real home that he would ever know. Though he would eventually become one of the most respected Jedi of his day, Obi-Wan was unremarkable as a youngling. You could say that he was a late bloomer.

As a Padawan, it took some time for him to be chosen by a master for an apprenticeship. He had even started to give up on the idea, all of his peers of his age having already been chosen. Eventually, he was chosen by the somewhat radial Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. As with every master and apprentice, Obi-Wan developed a strong bond with Qui-Gon. While he didn't always agree with his methods, he still highly respected his master. He accompanied Qui-Gon on a mission to Mandalore, where he would meet and help protect Duchess Satine Kryze. He would go on to develop romantic feelings for Satine. While he didn't act on them, he would have left the Order for her had she but asked him to. Instead Obi-Wan would go on to continue his studies under Qui-Gon until well into his 20s. While on another mission in aiding the Queen of Naboo, Padme Amidala, Obi-Wan encountered Anakin Skywalker. A boy that his master strongly believed was the Chosen One of Jedi prophecy. He could only watch, in not always silent disapproval, as Qui-Gon insisted on training him despite the council's refusal. With Obi-Wan insisting that he was ready for the Jedi trials to become a knight since it was forbidden for a master to take on two apprentices. However, the matter was not decided upon as they were sent back to Naboo. It was there that master and apprentice encountered a Sith Lord. Despite being two against one, the duel was hard fought and eventually Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon became separated. This led to Qui-Gon's defeat as he was impaled by the Sith's lightsaber, with Obi-Wan watching from behind an energy field. Distressed and angry, Obi-Wan then engaged the Sith and was ultimately victorious. He then ran to his master's side, holding Qui-Gon in his arms. Promising him that he would train Anakin before his master succumed to his wounds.

With his defeat of the Sith Lord, Darth Maul, Obi-Wan was granted the title of Jedi Knight. Also with the council's approval, he was also able to fulfill Qui-Gon's dying wish and took Anakin as his Padawan. What followed was years of training Anakin and developing a bond with him. Which eventually lead to an incident on Coruscant several years later with the attempted assassination of the now senator, Padme Amidala. With himself and Anakin being assigned to protect her. During another attempt on her life, and a dramatic chase sequence later, they were able to catch the would-be assassin. However, the criminal was killed by a poison dart before any information could be extracted. Instead, Obi-Wan took the dart and did research on it, eventually getting a tip from a friend of his that it was from Kamino. A planet that was not listed in the great library in the Jedi Temple. After figuring out where it should be, Obi-Wan came to the planet and discovered by accident that a clone army was being produced for the Republic. He also encountered the bounty hunter, Jango Fett, who was both the clone template and the killed of the assassin. After a failed attempt to apprehend him, Obi-Wan was able to fix a tracking device on Jango's ship. Ultimately following him to Geonosis and discovering the presence of Count Dooku and the beginnings of the Separatists. Unfortunately, he was captured, and was asked to join Dooku in his pursuits. Something which Obi-Wan flat out refused. However, he had managed to send out a signal before his capture, with Anakin receiving it. Both Anakin and Padme deciding to come to his rescue. Which didn't work out so well as they were capture too. All three of them being put into an arena for execution. Able to free themselves from their chains, they fought back against the creatures that were meant to kill them. Eventually a fleet of Jedi coming in to rescue them. However, when it looked like they might be defeated, Yoda came in with the new clone army. This would eventually lead to the great and first battle of Geonosis. While the Republic and its new army were victorious, there were heavy casualties, even among the Jedi. This event would launch the Clone Wars.

Not long after the battle of Geonosis, Obi-Wan was promoted to the rank of Jedi Master and was given a seat on the Jedi council. The greatest honor a Jedi could be given aside from becoming the Grand Master and leader of the Jedi Order. His Padawan, Anakin, was also promoted to Jedi Knight, and the two of them still fought closely together during the years of the Clone Wars. He also met Anakin's own Padawan, Ahsoka Tahno, whom Obi-Wan may have had a hand in setting up for his former apprentice. General Kenobi would come to fight in many battles, leading his own platoon of clone troopers in the war. Some battles were won, and some were lost. He would become well known in the galaxy among the Seperatists and the Republic alike. Gaining the title of, The Negotiator, for his skill and tendency to try and avoid violence of possible. Also he was well respected by his Jedi peers as a wise and strict observer of the Jedi Code. However, he faced many trials and difficulties during the war as well. Including the murder of his close friend, and past romantic interest, Satine Kryze, at the hands of Darth Maul. He would also fake his own death to disguise himself as a criminal to thwart a threat against Chancelor Palpatine's life. As well as witnessing Ahsoka Tahno's departure from the Jedi Order.

Eventually the chancellor was kidnapped by General Grievous and Count Dooku. Anakin and Obi-Wan mounting a rescue in where they were victorious. With the death of Dooku, and the escape of Grievous however, their work was not done. Not long after, Anakin was given a seat on the Jedi Council as Palpatine's representative, much to the chagrin of the Jedi Council. They then used Obi-Wan to ask Anakin to spy on the chancellor for them as they didn't trust him. Obi-Wan was then later sent on a mission to hunt down General Grievous. He would end up finding and engaging him on Utapau, and after a lengthy and hard fought battle, Obi-Wan was able to kill him. However, unknown to him, back on Coruscant, things were unraveling as Anakin had turned to the Dark Side by sway of Chancelor Palpatine who was a Sith Lord. The two of them beginning the slaughter of the Jedi with Anakin killing all those in the temple, and Palpatine engaging Order 66. This order making is so that clone troopers would turn and kill their Jedi commanders. Obi-Wan was indeed shot off a rock face by his own troopers, but managed to barely escape. He later learned that this was happening all over the galaxy and was able to meet up with senator Bail Organa and Master Yoda. Together they returned to Coruscant as Palpatine was cementing his control, turning the Republic into an Empire. Obi-Wan and Yoda infiltrated the Jedi Temple and disabled a signal that was telling Jedi that the war was over and to return. Instead changing it to a warning for Jedi to stay away. It was then that he came across a security recording showing Anakin slaughting Jedi in the temple. Yoda then implored him to face Anakin while he went after the emperor, and after great reluctance, he did. Informing Padme of his findings, who was heavily pregnant with Anakin's child at the time, Obi-Wan then stowed away on her ship as she flew to Mustafar to find Anakin. This resulted in a face off after Anakin lashed out angrily against his wife, and then his mentor, accusing him of turning her against him. This then led to an epic duel in which the two were well matched, though Obi-Wan was in retreat most of the time, he held his ground. The clash of lightsabers carrying them across the unforgiving landscape of lava rivers. It wasn't until after he had secured an advantageous position, that Obi-Wan was able to turn the tides in his favor. Yet Anakin came after him anyway, forcing Obi-Wan to sever Anakin's legs and his one remaining flesh arm. It was then that Obi-Wan let out his anguished words at his former friend, while Anakin screamed his hatred. However, he was unable to bring himself to kill Anakin, and instead could only look on as the lava caught him on fire and burned his body. Picking up Anakin's lightsaber, it was there that Obi-Wan left him.

Obi-Wan then returned to the ship where Padme was being taken care of by the droid C-3PO. Taking her and the ship, he met back with Senator Organa and Yoda, who had also suffered defeat. The Jedi Master then witnessed Padme giving birth to her twins, Luke and Leia. However, not long after, Padme died, losing her will to live. Knowing that there was still good in Anakin were her last, dying words to Obi-Wan. It was then decided by Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Bail that the twins needed to be split up and hidden from the empire. With Senator Organa taking the girl, and Obi-Wan taking the boy to his family on Tatooine where he would watch over him. However, before he left with the baby boy, Yoda instructed Obi-Wan on how to commune with his former master, Qui-Gon, and to receive training from him on Tatooine. It's just after his arrival with little Luke on the desert planet, that he is brought here.

Personality:

Obi-Wan had been with and trained by the Jedi Order since he was a very small child. Because of that he's grown into a very powerful but disciplined Jedi Master. In his youth he was quite headstrong and even defiant, just as his Master was. However, as he's grown older those traits have diminished somewhat with his experience and maturity. As a strict follower of the Jedi Code, he's able to keep his emotions and feelings well under control in most circumstances and is thus usually very calm and focused. He has always been taught and known that fear and anger leads to the dark side, and for that he represses these feelings. Though there was at least one or two instances where he has nearly given over to anger in relating to his late Master and the Sith Lord who killed him.

As a Padawan he was apprenticed to Qui-Gon Jinn. Since Jedi are discovered as very young children and taken from their families to be trained, they essentially have no family. Thus the bond between master and apprentice is the closest thing they have to a child-parent relationship with anyone. It was no different in Obi-Wan's case as he viewed Qui-Gon to not only be his friend and mentor, but a father figure as well. Thus the two of them were very close. Witnessing the death of his master at the hands of a Sith Lord was nothing short of devastating. It is human to feel anger in such circumstances, and while he was tempted to give in to this during the fight with Darth Maul, he managed not to. However, he was faced with this yet again upon discovering that Darth Maul had survived their previous fight, once again tempted to give into his anger but managing not to. If he had, it could have possibly led him down a very dark path.

Instead with age and experience he became a cautious and conservative mentor to his own apprentice, though some times perhaps a bit too critical of him. In his dying moments Qui-Gon had asked Obi-Wan to train Anakin Skywalker, who he believed to be the Chosen One that would bring balance to the Force. Obi-Wan gave him his word and followed through, taking Anakin as his Padawan learner. Practically raising the boy the two of them became very close. Just as Qui-Gon had with him, he loved Anakin like a brother and they shared a father/son relationship as Obi-Wan trained and practically raised the boy. They have been through a lot together, including fighting side by side during the Clone Wars. Thus when Anakin turned to the Dark Side and ultimately betrayed him and the rest of the Jedi, it was devastating. However, Obi-Wan had to do his duty and faced his apprentice in a duel which ended in Anakin's defeat upon severing his legs. Despite that, Obi-Wan could not bring himself to kill Anakin, even though he probably should have. Hearing Anakin screaming the words 'I hate you', and the gruesome sight of watching him get burned alive, is something that will haunt Obi-Wan for the rest of his life.

With kindness and gentleness Obi-Wan would rather avoid physical confrontations and thus prefers diplomacy, which has earned him the reputation of 'The Negotiator' among many star systems. But he will not hesitate to jump into action if he needs to. He usually thinks and plans before making his moves, rather than just rushing into things. Though he certainly can be quite bold as he has dropped in among a fleet of droids that easily outnumbered him in a fight. While he is often serious, he isn't without a sense of humor and has a bit of sarcastic wit as shown with his bantering back and forth with Anakin. Sometimes even getting a little defensive in the process. While Jedi aren't supposed to have attachments to people or things, Obi-Wan has shown himself to be friendly and very personable. He tends to make friends wherever he goes.

Obi-Wan has always shown himself to be studious and has not only grown very knowledgeable, but is also wise beyond his years. This wisdom, patience, and experience managed to gain him a seat on the Jedi Council. A high honor that most Master Jedi do not achieve as only a small percentage of them get this honor. He was extremely loyal to the Jedi Order, the Republic, and to democracy. Thus when the Republic ultimately fell, and the Jedi Order destroyed, it was a shock that shook him to his core. Though at the same time it wasn't entirely unexpected as he had been witnessing the gradual corruption of the Senate for some time, particularly in regards to Chancelor Palpatine whom he had believed to be dangerous and untrustworthy, only to end up being a Sith Lord.

Even though he is compassionate, he will do what needs to be done for the good of all. Even those closest to him could not override his sense of duty and what he feels to be right, as he had to make some very difficult decisions upon the fall of the Republic. Including the break up of the Order and having to go into hiding, unable to do anything about the fall of the Republic or the Force being shrouded in darkness. The most difficult though was having to face Anakin after he had turned to the dark side and killed all the Jedi in the temple. This having been the most difficult time he's had to face, leaving him anguished and sorrowful. In part he blames himself for not seeing the signs sooner and acting upon them.

Strengths
Physically, Obi-Wan is fit and strong for his age as he does well to keep himself in shape, but is even more powerful with his mastery of the Force. While not on the same level as say Anakin or Yoda, he is quite an accomplished Force user and able to do super human feats that would get a normal human hurt. With the Force he can lift objects several times his size without touching them. He can manipulate a weak minded individual, and even probe their thoughts to a limited degree. He is an capable and skilled pilot, is a good shot with a blaster, and is well versed in several forms of combat. Most notably his lightsaber skills are highly advanced. Even Mace Windu considered him THE master of the Soresu form of lightsaber combat. This form focuses on defense which is why he is nearly untouchable when there is a lightsaber in his hands. With the Force he also has heightened senses, healing abilities, speed, and agility.

Emotionally, Obi-Wan is in great control. With years of Jedi discipline and training he's learned to control his emotions and keep them from consuming him. He's calm, composed, and doesn't allow his feelings to get the best of him. There is little that is able to crack his nearly impenetrable wall of disciplined composure.

Mentally, Obi-Wan is intelligent and studious. He is quite fond of learning and researching things he doesn't understand. Please don't step on that specimen, he wanted to study that! He is also very skilled in diplomacy, and has become known as The Negotiator, in his home galaxy. He is also wise beyond his years, which is likely one of the top reasons why he was selected to sit on the Jedi council. He has good insight and intuition, and is more than willing to pass on his knowledge.

Weaknesses
Physically, especially without the Force, Obi-Wan is no different from any other human in that he can be injured or killed. While his Force abilities make him more resilient, and some believe Jedi can't be killed, this is far from the truth. A lightsaber could easily cut off his limb or well aimed blaster shot could end his life in a moment just like with anyone else. While his lightsaber style is very strong in defense, it is on the weak side when it comes to offense as his style is one of the most nonaggressive.

His lightsaber style is also reflection of him as a person mentally. He prefers to solve things in a way that won't lead to aggression if he can help it. He prefers methods of nonviolence if he can pull it off. Which is something that has gained him criticism along with many other Jedi. Not always willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done in a war situation.

While Obi-Wan is in great control of his emotions, he is still human. Without the Force, it will be harder for him to control them as well. He still feels and has weaknesses. A strict follower of the Jedi Code, he is forbidden to have attachments to things or people which can lead to complicated relationships as he keeps most at a distance despite his friendly nature.. He has become close to a few, and lost nearly everyone he has ever cared about.. There is great sadness in his life, and he struggles with these feelings so that they won't bring him down. He has nearly given into his anger on a couple of occasions as well, mostly involving Darth Maul and the deaths of his former master and Satine. Obi-Wan thus carries great burdens on his shoulders and blames himself for things that were not entirely under his control. Probably more than he really should. Particularly when it comes to Anakin.

 - Mastery of Soresu, Type III, lightsaber style combat and is proficient in other styles as well.
 - Heightened senses, physical strength, endurance, and healing due to the Force.
 - Able to perform spectacular physical feats by using the Force, such as great leaps that a normal human can't do.
 - Telekinesis by use of the Force, aka the ability to move objects and even people without touching them.
 - Ability to sense things via the Force, such as someone's presence, feelings, and even events before they happen.
 - The ability to heal himself and others with basic Force healing.
