[Obi-Wan listened quietly. What she said didn't explain much, and certainly not enough to make him feel any better about it. But there was one face that still remained.]

This isn't just about you Rey. Not anymore.

[Her face fell more, and this time she can't quite keep the indignant tone out of her voice.]

But it is. Kylo Ren has my lightsaber. I'm the least likely to be hurt, so I have to be the one to get it back from him. No one else has to be involved.

[And now a hint of frustration flares up, because Rey can only hold her temper for so long.] I'm trying to help you!

Your lightsaber? You do realize that it has belonged to many people before you, most of which are here.

[Obi-Wan sighed and rubbed his forehead as a headache started coming on. He knew Rey was upset, and he didn't want to fight. But...]

You're not the only one who feels responsible, Rey.

[Rey knows of two owners of this lightsaber. Only one is here, and he's long dead in her time. So she doesn't understand Obi-Wan's logic from that standpoint.

But the thing that really makes her temper flare is the blow to her pride. The lightsaber is one of the few things she can sense reliably in the Force right now, and she knows she has a connection to it. Obi-Wan's words almost feel like he's cheapening that, which hits her pride, and the ever-present scavenger in her rankles at the implication that it's not hers.]

It is mine! [She can't help raising her voice or the indignation in her tone.] It came to me. It called me! I feel this crystal as if it were a part of me! If that doesn't make it mine then what does??
