What made you think of leaving?

The first time was when I was young. I fell in love with the Duchess of Mandalore while my Master and I were assigned to protect her. We were on the run for about a year.

However, we had very different lives and paths to follow once the threat was gone. Though, if she had asked, I would have stayed with her.

[Just the thought of Satine brings a sadness and heartache that leaks through the connection just a little bit. There is certainly some regret.]

The other time was when Anakin nearly left the Order. He was still a boy then. I had promised my master I would train him, and I would have left the Order with him to fulfill that promise.

Why... didn't she ask you if you loved each other? Did something stop her?

Wait, why did Anakin want to leave? I'm not sure I understand, what caused both of you to nearly leave and then stop?

Satine’s first love was her people, but I suspect she also didn’t want to come between me and my career as a Jedi.

Anakin had a hard time fitting in with the other younglings in the Order. He was an exception to the rule and was technically too old to have been admitted. So his experiences and training was not the same as the others. Every youngling had to compete to find a master and become a Padawan. He didn’t have to do that. He was discouraged, but changed his mind during a mission we had together.

He never really gets a break, neither of you do, huh? [It's said sadly, mournfully.]

It seems that way, sometimes.

[He can’t deny they have had a hard life.]

But neither of us have been one to dwell on it much. There’s little point as the past can’t be changed.

Yeah... but what are you two doing to make yourself happy to make up for it?

If the Force is all about balance, then clearly you two should have just as many happy moments in your lives as sad ones, right? Sometimes we gotta make our own happiness.

Oh... we have our ways.

[Theres a little secretive smile at that. He wasn’t going to go into detail there.]

Just living a peaceful life, together, has made us happier.

[Admittedly, Usagi's mind immediately goes NC-17 but she clears her throat and banishes the thought because she doesn't want to think of one of her father figures having sex no matter how attractive Obi-Wan is because EWWWWWWWWWWWW, he's like a DAD to her.]

You’ve certainly given me something to think about, Usagi. Perhaps it’s time I spent some more time with Anakin. I think we could both use a vacation.

Oooh I know a lot of really good places if you want suggestions! There's this great spa in the mountains Allura and I kidnap each other to!

Actually I was just thinking the mountains might be good. I think I know the spa you’re talking about.

TRY THE HOT SPRINGS. Oh my gosh, they're wonderful!

Actually, I know of a hot spring in a cave. It might come from the same source. It's secluded and private. Perhaps I can take Anakin there.

Well, then there ya go! Although seriously, at least go try the spa. Would it really be so bad to allow yourself to get pampered for one day?

It certainly wouldn't hurt. There's no reason we can't do both.

As far as I know though, only Sosyne and I know about the cave. I can tell you where it is if you'd like to visit it sometime.

Unless that cave is connected to a hotel with a nice warm bed, no, thank you. I don't camp.

I suppose that's fair. It is a bit of a hike into the cave also. Which is likely why its not well known.

Sosyne brought me to that cave to test me before I became her representative. I decided to explore it later and found the hot spring.

It's quite beautiful though.

But I hope Anakin appreciates it more than me.

I think he will. Plus it’s been some time since I’ve been there. Taking time in nature is good for clearing the mind as well.
