At this rate, Obi-Wan should just resign himself as a permanent accessory to Qui-Gon's many antics. It is his destiny.

He already has. Can you hear that resigned sigh of his?

"And I don't suppose you intend to tell me where we're going?"

Deciding to give up his meditations for the morning, the younger Jedi rises from his sitting position on the bed. He will go along with Qui-Gon's sneaky plans. And thus starts to mill around his room to pack up a few things.

"You're right. I have no intention whatsoever until we get there."

Qui-Gon clasps Obi-Wan's shoulder, that glint in his eye alive and well, just like in the days when they would go on missions as Jedi Master and Padawan... annnd the shenanigans that would result.

The good ol' days.

"We leave within the hour. I expect you to be ready before then."

At the hand to his shoulder, Obi-Wan looks up at his old master, a curious glint in his own eyes. Although he was grown and far from the Padawan he used to be, he couldn't very well say no to that. Thus a smile touches Obi-Wan's face.

"Very well, master. I'll be ready."

And ready he will be. A small bag has been packed with the items he would need, and a note left for Rey on Satine's care instructions.
