Empatheias IC Inbox

Need to talk with Obi-Wan privately via amulet or want to physically meet him somewhere? This is the place to do it!

Just post with the IC date and the type of post (audio, video, action, etc) in the subject line. If it's an action post please put the location as well.

Oh great! He's already up. That makes things a lot easier.

"How much longer do you need to finish your meditations?"

There's an urgency underlying his tone, although oddly enough it isn't matched by any ripples of distress in the Force or through their amulets. Almost as if Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn is simply just impatient about something. Alert the space presses. May as well let them know that water is wet, too.

That's an even better start to the theme of this whole weekend.

"Mostly for you to pack an overnight bag."

Qui-Gon shrugs. Even though Obi-Wan can't see it in his zen state, he's pretty sure the younger Jedi can hear it in the tone of his voice. It's a common lilt that pops up whenever Qui-Gon is up to something not quite mischevous, but not exactly short of conniving.

"The sooner the better, but no rush."

At this rate, Obi-Wan should just resign himself as a permanent accessory to Qui-Gon's many antics. It is his destiny.

"Not far, but it will be for today and tomorrow."

Because riddles never cease when it comes to the Jedi.

"You're right. I have no intention whatsoever until we get there."

Qui-Gon clasps Obi-Wan's shoulder, that glint in his eye alive and well, just like in the days when they would go on missions as Jedi Master and Padawan... annnd the shenanigans that would result.

The good ol' days.

"We leave within the hour. I expect you to be ready before then."
